An outstanding quality wool with superb stitch definition to make quick clothing or home decors. As a matter of fact, Corriedale wool has great elasticity and resilience, making it perfect for quick and hard wearing accessories and sweaters. Also its long and strong staple has a great amount of beautiful natural shine as well as crimp which gives the yarn excellent stitch definition and its knitted fabric retains the shape very well. Cardo is a classic 4 ply chunky yarn, hand dyed in gorgeous semi-solid hues. Please knit two rows from one skein and then two rows from another to give an overall well-blended effect.
*Please note: This wool is not superwash. BTW Cardo from Spanish means Thistle - a lovely, but prickly, heather or purple flower, a medicinal plant.
