It is the best for cooking or making Lavender Tea: The sweet aroma of Lavender will indulge your mind and the Mauve-coloured infusion will calm your body.
Please don't use Lavender in large amounts. It will add bitterness to your dish or cup. How to brew:
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of Lavender for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tisane).

Lavender flowers are gathered when they first start to bloom and are dried on a cloth, as they tend to fall apart. Lavender is most often used for perfuming, but it is also an excellent plant for infusions and has an agreeable floral flavour. French Select Lavender is also great for making cloth sachet to hung them in wardrobes and linen closets to repel insects and mites. Lavender has been used as a natural pesticide from ancient times. Rubbing the wood of cabinets and cupboards with the Lavender essential oil keeps mites and flies away.

Rooibos is caffeine-free herb cultivated in South Africa. Cut Rooibos is bound and then milled to a uniform length then bruised between rollers to trigger the fermentation process, which results in the fruity flavour, sweet aroma, and exotic burgundy colour of the brew. These rose buds are gathered from the wild rose bushes grown in the surrounding forests in Anhui Province. Air and sun dried.They can be used to make a lovely black tea called Rose Orange Cinnamon Tea - a delightful mix of rosebuds with an orange zest and ground cinnamon. For each serving you need: 1 1/2 teaspoon of your favourite black estate tea, 2 rose buds, a teaspoon of orange peel and a pinch of cinnamon. Mix everything together and infuse as a normal cup of tea. It can be consumed hot or iced. Rose petals can be crystallized or used in salads and desserts.
