It is the best for cooking or making Lavender Tea: The sweet aroma of Lavender will indulge your mind and the Mauve-coloured infusion will calm your body. Please don't use Lavender in large amounts. It will add bitterness to your dish or cup. How to brew: Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of Lavender for each 7-9oz / 200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Lavender flowers are gathered when they first start to bloom and are dried on a cloth, as they tend to fall apart. Lavender is most often used for perfuming, but it is also an excellent plant for infusions and has an agreeable floral flavour. French Select Lavender is also great for making cloth sachet to hung them in wardrobes and linen closets to repel insects and mites. Lavender has been used as a natural pesticide from ancient times.
