Irene & Mr.Sheep® is the retail mail-order Knitting Shop and Knitwear Design Studio. We specialize in premium natural, organic and high-end designer yarns for hand knit fashion, and knitwear design. Wise Tea Garden® is our subsidiary Tea House. Wise Tea Garden® supplies certified organic and deluxe loose whole leaf teas, tea blending components, herbs and non-GMO organic foods. The registered business name of our parent company is "Irene & Mr. Sheep Company".
[ 2.2.Can I buy your yarns for my shop? ]
Our business is retail. Please contact yarn manufacturers for account opening.
[ 2.3 Do you ship fast? ]
Usually, orders are dispatched on the same day or within 24 hours, depending on the time of order placement and volume of orders per day. Shipments are prepared and released every day except weekends (Nov 1 - Dec 31: Mon-Sat) via Canada Post or FedEx (express items are shipped 24-7). [ 2.4 Can you order a yarn for me? ]
Our inventory is listed on the pages Product Index and Last Bag. Some yarns can be special ordered by bags or by a minimum quantity of skeins. Delivery of a special order takes from 3 business days to 8 weeks to our store, depending on an item origin.
[ 2.5 Do you provide shade cards or yarn samples? ]
Our shade cards are property of Irene & Mr.Sheep Co. and cannot be retrieved from our shop unless a second copy is available for purchase. Large orders can be supplied with a shade card on request for free and if available. Some of the shade cards can be purchased: Classic Alpaca, Suri Elegance, Aurora Handpaint, Elsness DK. Since we sell luxury goods, no yarn samples are supplied.
[ 2.6 Are all posted on your website items available? ]
Yes, all posted on our website items are in stock unless indicated otherwise. To be sure that the required quantity is in our inventory, please submit us your enquiry.
[ 2.7 Is your angora fluffy and fuzzy? ]
We sell only premium, top-quality, unbrushed millspun or handspun angora yarns. If your preference is handspun varieties, a pretty good quality and exceptionally hand-dyed and/or dehaired Angora from Malabrigo, Lotus, or Orkney Angora are available. Angora "blooms" depending on the breed of angora rabbits. There are four main breeds of angora rabbits: French, German, English, and Satin. French Angora blooms more due to the guard hairs. English Angora needs to be "abused" a little to achieve this bloom. German Angora was developed through selective breeding, resulting in a rabbit with very high fur yields. Its fur is strong enough even for commercial processing. We sell French and German unbrushed, millspun and handspun varieties.

We sell neither brushed angora yarns nor angora rabbit fur pelt yarn you are looking for. Our preference is Spun and unbrushed Angora Yarns for hand knit fashion.

[ 2.11 How does online tracking work? ]
Canada Post's online tracking tool allows you to use the tracking number of your package to access tracking information and confirm the delivery of your item. At the moment of acceptance of your package at a Canada Post's outlet, your order is created in the Canada Post's system automatically by scanning and inserting the tracking number of your package in the computer, which is connected to the Canada Post's network database. Then, the next three records related to your order appear, and you will be able to find out: when your item was accepted by Canada Post outlet, when it was received by Canada Post plant, and when your item was delivered. Canada Post tracking system is updated daily.
[ 2.12 What if my tracking information is unavailable? ]
If you receive a message telling you that your tracking information is unavailable, it doesn't mean that your item hasn't been mailed. There may be a delay between scanning events and the availability of tracking information related to those scanning events, or an incorrect tracking number was provided by mistake. Please contact our customer support.
