Are you a yarn manufacturer?

Our business Irene & Mr.Sheep® is the retail Knitting Shop and Knitwear Design Studio. We specialize in premium natural, organic and high-end designer yarns for hand knit fashion, and knitwear design.
Wise Tea Garden® is our subsidiary Tea Shop and supplies premium loose whole leaf certified organic, rare teas, and dye herbs from The Metropolitan Tea Company (Canada). The registered business name of our parent company is "Irene & Mr.Sheep Company".

I would like to know if you have a retail location, where can we visit you?

mail-order services only. Please check our News for updates. Thank you for your interest in our products.

Can I buy your yarns for my shop?

Our business is retail. Please contact yarn manufacturers for the detailed information on account opening.


Can you order a yarn for me?

Our inventory is listed on the pages
Product Index and Last Bag. We do not offer any other items that can be purchased on a special order basis.

Do you have any outlets in the UK?

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our business is located in Toronto, Canada. We do not have outlets outside of North America.

Do you provide shade cards or yarn samples?

Our shade cards are property of Irene & Mr.Sheep Co. and cannot be retrieved from our shop unless a second copy is available for purchase. Large orders can be provided with a shade card on request for free and if available. Some of the shade cards can be purchased:
Classic Alpaca, Suri Elegance, Incredible DK, Incredible 4 ply, Lambgora. We sell luxury goods. No yarn samples are supplied.

Can I add an item to my placed order?

Yes. Please use our online shopping cart to add anything you wish. We issue credit notes (adjustments). An overcharge for shipping is credited within two weeks. If you wish, please send us an aggregated amount
online upon a prior agreement.

Are all posted on your website items available?

Yes, all posted on our website items are in stock unless indicated otherwise. To be sure that the required quantity is in our inventory, please submit us your
enquiry.

Which orders are free of shipping charges?

North American orders over $300.00 are free of shipping charges. International orders over $300.00 may be charged a discounted, up to 10% rate for shipping.
Discounts and giveaways are available for orders over $70.00 if freight is paid in full.

Do you offer a volume discount?

Volume Discount Program is available for our Returning Customers.

Is your angora fluffy and fuzzy?

We sell only premium, top-quality millspun angora yarns. If your preference is handspun varieties, a pretty good quality and exceptionally hand-dyed and dehaired
Angora from Malabrigo or Lotus is available. Angora "blooms" depending on the breed of angora rabbits. There are four main breeds of angora rabbits: French, German, English, and Satin. French Angora blooms more due to the guard hairs. English Angora needs to be "abused" a little to achieve this bloom. German Angora was developed through selective breeding, resulting in a rabbit with very high fur yields. Its fur is strong enough even for commercial processing. We sell French and German unbrushed and millspun varieties.

Do you sell long-haired angora rabbit yarn like a rabbit's coat or an angora fur yarn?

We sell neither brushed angora yarns nor angora rabbit fur pelt yarn you are looking for. Our preference is natural, millspun, unbrushed designer
angora yarns for hand knit fashion.

Can I calcualte my shipping rate online?

To calculate a Canada Post's shipping rate, please follow the

Our website serves customers worldwide. We recalculate all orders and issue adjustments if an overcharge for shipping (and insurance - for all orders over 100 grams) exceeds $1.25. Usually, we pay from $1.50 to $9.90, depending on the weight of the magazine and destination. Postage rates are based on the weight and destination of the package, but not on its value. For Canadian Residents, only Canada Post Expedited Parcel postal service is available unless lightweight orders of printed materials. No, we do not have a shop on eBay.


I like a crochet pattern, but it is marked as "sample pattern". How I can obtain this pattern?

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our sample patterns are designs, which were used or are currently for sale in our
Knitwear Boutique. Instructions for some crochet and knit sample patterns become available when an item is not presented in our Boutique's collection.

Why some of the pattern are in *pdf-format on your site, but some of them just rather have the original pattern in front of them?

Printed pad-patterns or free leaflets are provided by yarn manufacturers. Patterns copyrighted by Irene & Mr.Sheep Co. are recently sold either in a *.pdf-format or provided in any other form convenient not for commercial use. Some of our new free patterns are posted in a *.txt-format because of many requests from our customers. Thank you for your interest in our products.

Do sequins scratch the skin?

As you know, sequins are a popular 80s fashion trend. Recently,
sequins and paillettes are used in many ways, including home decor and even leggings (VOGUE November 2009, for Express.com).

How does online tracking work?

Canada Post's online tracking tool allows you to use the tracking number of your package to access tracking information and confirm the delivery of your item. At the moment of acceptance of your package at a Canada Postís outlet, your order is created in the Canada Postís system automatically by scanning and inserting the tracking number of your package in the computer, which is connected to the Canada Post's network database. Then, the next three records related to your order appear, and you will be able to find out: when your item is received by Canada Post plant, when your item left Canada and when it was accepted by a foreign postal administration (if your order was mailed to the US or internationally), and when your item was delivered. Canada Post tracking system is updated daily.


What if my tracking information is unavailable?

If you receive a message telling you that your tracking information is unavailable, it doesn't mean that your item hasn't been mailed. There may be a delay between scanning events and the availability of tracking information related to those scanning events, or an incorrect tracking number was provided by mistake. Please contact our
customer service.

I have already paid for shipping at the time of my order. Why do you ask for an additional payment?

Our website serves customers worldwide. For most purchases, shipping charges are based on the weight, size and destination of the package. Because freight is calculated automatically as a percent of the value of your purchase, there can be a slight margin of error for orders of 1) one ball with the value up to $5.99, and 2)
international orders with the weight over 230 gram (we ship by air, delivery takes 4-15 biz days unless overseas orders over 1 kg). If you owe us more than $5.00, we may ask for an additional payment for shipping.

Do you accept credit cards in ways other than online?

Recently, we accept
credit cards online through PayPal's check-out system.

What should I do if PayPal rejects all of my credit cards?

Please use PayPal's eCheck as a payment option, pay from your PayPal account, or issue a cheque. PayPal's process for accepting cards is stringent and complicated. This process helps prevent the use of stolen and unauthorized cards. Since this process is very complex, it does occasionally affect valid cards. The refusal of your credit card does not reflect your credit worthiness. Usually, in cases where a valid card fails PayPal's system checks, they suggest that you try another credit card in the system.


Are your contact forms active?

Our website is hosted by Yahoo!, and all forms posted on our website work exceptionally well 24/7/365(366). The ip address of a sender is included in submission.
