Alpaca Superlight is one of the so called zephyr yarns - super lightweight threads. Garments made of it are unfeelingly airy, with a beautiful soft halo reminiscent of babykid mohair. This yarn has a classic design, which is the same for all brushed yarns: the fluff of brushed alpaca is twisted with a strand of nylon to make the yarn strong and long-lasting.
