ECO BAMBOO Straight Knitting Needles
SURINA Straight Knitting Needles

|
Eco Bamboo straight knitting needles are made from the Moso and Madake bamboo wood harvested from October to March in mountainous regions of Shanghai. Moso bamboo is the most important bamboo in China, where it covers about 3 million hectares (about 2% of the total Chinese forest area). It is the main species for bamboo timber and plays an important role for the ecological environment. Bamboo is grown without pesticides or fertilisers. To make needles, the bamboo stalk is rounded and then steam cured without chemical additives leaving the wood in its natural, light brown colour. Then, needles are polished with Japanese vegetable wax to produce a smooth and durable finish.
* No chemicals added.
