Estelle Cloud Cotton, and Cloud Cotton Eco made in Peru

Cloud Cotton is a pure organic, long staple Pima cotton yarn suitable for all-year-round knits and baby articles. It is ultra soft, velvety, absorbent, and is spun using Beeswax. Cloud Cotton is in aran weight and is dyed in two sets of colorways: either beautiful solid pastels or deep shades of Brown, Shocking Pink, Black, Fuchsia, Sapphire. Textured stitch patterns or open-work are suitable and can result in a durable and luxuriously soft garment. * Note that Organic cotton has great insulation properties. In Peru, Pima cotton is harvested by hand, resulting in a natural brilliant white shade.

Known facts: • Pima cotton is prized all around the world as a luxury fiber and is called "Gamuza" by the Peruvians, meaning "Suede" in Spanish because of its silky soft feel and brilliant luster. Peru's Textiles. • Organic Cotton accounts for less than approx 1/3rd of one percent of worldwide production. Most of it originating in Peru, Turkey, and Uganda. In United Sates, only approx 1/10th of one percent is grown organically, "which is round out to zero" according to a spokesman for the National Cotton Council.
