Superkid mohair blended with microfiber comes into an incredibly soft and air-weight mohair yarn. It is just slightly fuzzy and is not heavy, unlike regular bulky classic mohairs. Babykid can be worn next to the skin and is suitable for any kind of hand knitting projects: sweaters, shawls, stoles and scarves, hats, capes, ponchos, and is ideal for any open-work designs. Besides, it is an "economy class" yarn - you need only 6 balls of Babykid to knit a medium size sweater. Note that all kid mohairs have a slight brushed look because of their ultra softness.
Known facts: Microfiber is an extremely fine syntethic or natural fiber used to produce ultra light-weight fabrics. Mostly, it is available in polyester, nylon, acrylic and rayon.
