Superwash Wool, Machine Washable Yarns
What is Superwash? Superwash is the process of making wool fiber shrink resistant, machine washable and dryable. This process was developed in United Kingdom. To make the yarn machine washable, synthetic polymers are used: they fill in the cavities of the fiber's rough jagged surface. This method combines chlorination and resin treatment to reduce shrinkage, remaining the natural softness and resilience of wool.
