Fashionable Blends with Cotton
Did you know? In addition to the textile industry, cotton supplies the cellulose used in dynamite and other explosives, rocket propellants, shoes, luggage, coffee filters, in bookbinding, industrial abrasives, fingernail polish. Chemically treated and ground into pulp, cotton's short fibers (linters) are used in food casings for bologna, sausages, and hot dogs, - they thicken ice cream and smooth makeup.
