Estelle Super Alpaca, made in Peru

Estelle Super Alpaca is a next-to-the-skin pure Peruvian alpaca with superior softness and a slight halo, similar to angora-Merino blend. It is unlimitedly soft, velvety to the touch, and slightly and naturally lustrous. Super Alpaca is in light chunky weight and suitable for any kinds of fall-winter knitwear, from office clothing and men's outfits, to baby items and accessories: long and short pullovers, coats, cardigans, shrugs, waistcoats, scarves, hats & mittens, etc. * We would recommend slightly tight knitting to avoid stretching in shape after the first wash.

• Spaghetti Scarf, free pattern IR110. One size, Scarf's length - 290 cm with the fringe. Materials: 7 hanks Estelle Super Alpaca, optional for fringe - 1 ball Jo Sharp Lumina or leftovers of a sequined yarn in a black colour (about 3 m), needles and crochet hook: 4.5 mm (or size to obtain gauge). How to: Cast on 40 sts, work 176 cm (69-1/2") in Ribbing pattern: Row 1 (right side): 1 edge sts, *P2, K2, rep from * P1. Row 2: 1 edge sts, *K2, P2, rep from *, P1. Cast off all sts at once. For fringe, cut 80 x 28 cm (11") strands of each: Super Alpaca and any yarn with sequines or lurex. Using a 4.5 mm crochet hook make a fringe: Double each strand over, insert hook in each cast-off sts through the edge of the scarf, catching the loop and pulling it through. The finished fringe will be approx 12.5 cm (5").
