Estelle 100% Silk is a spun, pure bourette (noil) or organzine silk yarn in tweed and solid colours. This type of Silk looks and feels more like cotton with a scent of silk fiber (similar to Eri silk), than a traditional, shiny silk yarn. Silk bourette is very absorbent, and is suitable for summer outfits: sweaters, tops, jackets, accessories. As all silks, it is very durable and comfortable in wear. Known facts: Noil is a short fiber, removed during the combing of a textile fiber and separately spun into yarn, it does not tend to be lustrous.
