Louisa Harding Nerissa, made in Italy

Louisa Harding Nerissa is an ultra soft, premium quality cotton chenille yarn. It is manufactured in beautiful velvety and slightly dusty solid colours. Nerissa is suitable for all-year-round hand knitting and crochet projects: from comfy capes and dresses to cozy scarves and hats. Note that chenille yarn is unique in its manufacture: Short lengths of yarn, called the "pile", are placed between two core yarns and then twisted tightly together. The edges of these piles then stand at right angles from the yarn's core, giving chenille both its softness and characteristic look. Chenille will look different in one direction compared to another, as the fibers catch the light differently.

Garment Care: hand wash with lavender wash or mild soap in lukewarm water or dry clean with certain solvents, dry flat. Do not tumble dry, iron - low heat setting (one dot).
