Malabrigo
Angora,
made in Uruguay
|
Malabrigo Angora is an artisanal, countryside-style and very homey, pure hand-spun angora yarn. It is spun by Argentinian artisans and hand dyed in Uruguay by Malabrigo's dye artists. It is a tightly S-twisted single ply, hand-dyed in semi-solid and multi colours. This angora is ultra warm, has a beautiful, slightly slubbed due to the hand spinning, home-spun texture. It is perfect for all kinds of hand knit garments and accessories for kids and babies: sweaters, jackets and suits, hats, scarves, mittens, booties, and toys.
For information: The colour 98 Tuareg is named after the Taureg people (Berber nomads of Sahara, North Africa), who often wear indigo blue-coloured veils.
