Maddie is a very soft, eco-friendly and organic, ombré bamboo silk ribbon with a great loft. It is made in China and hand painted in Canada. Using this yarn, you can knit a fast-and-easy summer sweater or cardigan, top, poncho, bolero, wrap, dress, and in colours, which will definitely bring joy to your eyes. Bulky open-work patterns are suitable as well. As we have already noted, 100% bamboo is a natural antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable fiber.

For information: • The patent on the manufacturing process of bamboo vicose is held by the Hebei Jigao Chemical Fiber Company. This facility produces all of the bamboo viscose on the market. To strictly control the quality of raw material, this company has built its own bamboo plantation and keeps strict control over it. The bamboo is grown in accordance with the international organic standard of OCIA/IFOAM and the USDA National Organic Program, so as to ensure each bamboo stalk is of 100% natural growth and without any chemical pesticides. • Ombré yarns are dyed gradually so each colour melts into the next without a distinct transition. Ombré can be monochromatic as well.
