Katia Angora 100 is a very fluffy, premium quality, natural and pure French angora yarn in double knit weight and solid colours. Put-up: 50 m / 10 g.

Known facts: French Angora is supposed to consist of 30% guard hair. There is not much difference in the spinning of English and French angora fibers. However, French Angora blooms more due to the guard hairs. English Angora needs to be "abused" a little to achieve this bloom. German (Giant) Angora was developed through selective breeding, resulting in a rabbit with very high fur yields. Its fur is strong enough for commercial processing.
