The Alpaca Yarn Co.
HALO,
made in Peru
|
If you consider yourself a person who is mohair sensitive, there is no need to be jealous of people in fluff. Halo is a next-to-the-skin, ultra luxurious, upscale quality, delicate and slightly brushed Suri alpaca yarn. The composition of this yarn is absolutely classic for all brushed varieties, except the unique fluffy part, which is made of exotic brushed Suri. (Recipe: to make the yarn strong and incredibly soft at the same time, a very thin strand of nylon is tightly twisted with the alpaca fiber so that it looks like fluffy clouds attached to the nylon binder forever.) Halo is air-weight, and is suitable for any kinds of hand knit articles: lightweight coats and jackets, wraps, dresses, shawls, accessories. It is a perfect substitute for anyone who is sensitive to mohair.
