It is difficult to discover after which Flores this yarn was named. Does the name allude to a small island in British Columbia or Lesser Sunda Islands where hobbits were found, a Spanish singer or the governor of Alta California? Regardless, Lang's Flores is no less beautiful and attractive than others. It is a fantasy, slubbed cotton yarn in worsted (and fancy) weight suitable for summer knitwear and combined knitting with other yarns. It is slightly shiny and iridescent because of a coat of polyester (thin plies of cotton are wraped in a strand of polyester) dyed in the same, but darker and brighter, shade. The play of various components and different colours give this yarn its unique character. * Similar yarn: Cambio, Korfu, Erba
