King Cole Fashion Aran is a classic blend of new wool and premium acrylic suitable for hand knitting and magnum crochet projects (crochet hook size - 5-6 mm). Everything, from coats and skirts to blankets and accessories are suitable for this yarn. Aran leaflets are available.

For information: Fishermen from the Aran Isles wore traditional sweaters that were specific to each port located on these Isles, so that people could recognize where each fisherman was from. Also, the sweater patterns had meaningful names such as The Sacred Heart. Perhaps, these sweaters were talismans to protect the brave men in the ocean?
