An amazing recipe from Lang Yarns: six, fingering weight threads of premium-grade cashmere are braided in 3 chains, 2 plies per chain, which are also joined in a tight and very flexible cord. Because of this special construction, the yarn is in aran weight (suitable for needles up to 5.5 mm) and a bit stretchable. Stitches are very even, and knitted fabric looks like you knit with the regular, 6-8 plied cashmere twist.
