Cascade 220 is 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, which is known as the most felting wool in the world. Except felting, Wool 220 is also suitable for all hand knitting purposes: from decor projects and baby items to complicated felted-knitted-crocheted designs. Did you know? The process of making felt was developed in Central Asia by the ancestors of the Mongols. Wool or hair was combed out, wetted, and placed in layers on a mat.
