Estelle Cadenza and Cadenza Paint, made in Peru

Cadenza is a concerto of colours, in which solo is played by the fiber content and z-twist. It is a luxurious and natural, sport-weight blend of superwash merino extrafine and shiny&golden Tussah silk. Because of the tight z-twist, Cadenza's finished fabric has a light "purl" effect that makes its surface amazingly attractive. This yarn is suitable for hand and machine knitting, and crochet: shawls, stoles, wraps, lace scarves, hats and caps, berets, other open-work or crochet articles. If your patience allows you, a gorgeous chilly-weather sweater or a waistcoat can be made.

• For information: Tussah silk is the fiber produced by wild silk worms, and can be considered as organic. It has a wonderful feel and sheen. Naturally, it is in golden colour, and sold in 2-ply weight that makes it perfect for shawls.
