Astral is a natural, lustrous, superbly soft and luxurious, eco-friendly blend of Peruvian alpaca and Tencel (Lyocell). This blend is designed for autumn-winter knitwear and is suitable for all types of hand knitted clothes: vests, cardigans, coats, ponchos, and accessories.

* What is Tencel? Lyocell is an eco fibre made from wood pulp cellulose as well as Viscose and Rayon. It was first manufactured in 1988 by Courtaulds Fibres UK at their pilot plant S25. The only current manufacturer in the United States is Lenzing Fibers Inc., who market it under the trademarked brand name Tencel.
