Alpine is a wick wool yarn for fast knitting. It is light-weight chunky, very soft, and needs gentle care: only hand wash, an extremely gentle squeeze so that the garment wouldn't been stretched, and dry flat, keeping a form and length of all details of the garment. Mashine wash wick yarn: Tosca Jaspé from Lang Yarns.
